The self-guided Mysore practice allows students of different levels - be it a total beginner or an established practitioner - to practice in the same room, while the teacher instructs each of them individually. Although in a group setting, every student builds her practice gradually, step by step, adjusting it to her individual needs and abilities with a lot of physical help from the teacher. The Mysore practice allow you to come and go at any time within the announced time-frame.

During the Led practice, you receive instructions that are general for the whole group. Usually, these are the counted vinyasa - the necessary movements linked to the breath, necessary to get into and out of poses. In this type of class, the goal is to follow the tempo of the practice as well as the vinyasa. That is why you need to know the asanas and understand the vinyasa method, and have an established practice so you know how far into the practiceit is appropriate for you to get. В

This class is not suitable for beginners.

YOGA DRILLS & CONDITIONING

THURSDAY

18.00- 19.00

In this class we will be working on building the necessary skills needed to progress and deepen your practice safely and effectively over time. There are many drills to work on your joints, key muscles and movement patterns to slowly open up for the more difficult and advanced forward bends, backbends and/or arm balancing poses, as well as Lotus and twists variations.

Although suitable for everyone, the class is most effective for those with an established daily practice as it is an addition to it, not a replacement.

In these slow paced classes you will learn the Sun Salutations and key asanas to start building a solid foundation that will allow you to move forward easier and safer. The classes are led with focus on learning the correct vinyasa (the breathing and moving system) and the sequence of the fundamental asanas. This makes the class suitable for absolute beginners and will help you transition to Mysore practice with ease when you are ready to progress.
